    2. How many military cemeteries are in GA? How many of those are for the soldiers of the Civil War? Are there any of these Civil War cemeteries in South West GA? Any help would be appreciated. Nora

    3. Nora There is a US national cemetery in Atlanta, Ga. and a "civil war" cemetery at the Andersonville [Civil War Prison] National Historic Site in Macon County, Georgia. As a note, the Andersonville cemetery has supposedly 13,000 Union graves Also, local cemeteries have Civil War/CSA sections, like the city cemetery in Forsyth, Monroe Co, Ga just north of Macon, Ga on I-70.
