Surnames: Skelton Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Eo.2ADEAE/384 Message Board Post: At one time there was a Skelton family cemetary located between Lightwood Log Creek and Little Lightwood Log Creek in Hart County. When they started planning for Lake Hartwell in the early 1950's, they had to move the graves from several cemetaries, including this one. Now somewhere I would think there's a list of graves that were moved. I would think this would be reported especially since Noel Skelton built the first temporary county courthouse for Hart County. If anyone has any information about this or can steer me in the rightr direction, I'd appreciate it! Thanks!
