HI.. I recently came across some new infromation from a reliable source on Thomas Hersey who was my 3rd great grandfather. Here is the information that I have: I thought he was born in SC now it comes to light through this source that he was actually born in GA. He was born 28 Sep 1802 in Baxley, Appling County, GA. If anyone in these lists that I have emailed to has mor einformation, please contact me. I would love to know if there is a birth record out there for him. Also he was married in Ware County, GA to Rebecca Spivey. He died in 1907 in Douglas, Coffee County, GA. If anyone can help me in discovering if there is a death record or something like this for him, please help me. Also in the 1850 census Thomas and Rebecca are listed there with several children. I would appreciate any help from anyone who can help me in finding either a death record or birth record so we maybe can finally find out out who his actual parents were because as of now they are unknown. I do know he has a brother named George Hersey but it is believed that he lives in the North, possibly where he was born. Any help would be appreciated. Stephanie Grohol
