    1. Re: [GA-CEM] GA Official Code Regarding Cemeteries
    2. This all seems very interesting. I contacted a man earlier this year in regard to a family vault that is located on his property. The vault is quite unique in that it is constructed of tabby bricks. The vault is covered in vegetation and is in desperate need of repairs. Since I'm in the field of masonry restoration I thought I would see if he would mind me coming in and restoring the vault. Well, he stated that he did not want me to for fear of it attracting curious people once all of the vegetation was cleared. Of course the vault sits off the road quite a bit and this is what took me so long to find it. I find it very frustrating that people can be so selfish and let a valuable piece of history just disappear. Fortunately he has his water front property for sale which was once a plantation and hopefully the next owners will be willing to let me preserve this wonderful piece of history. Heck it's not even going to cost him a dime. Steven Elkins Savannah, GA.
