So, The Macon Cemetery Preservation Corporation (MCPC) was created as an umbrella organization to preserve and take care of abadoned and neglected cemeteries in the city of Macon. Historical Linwood and Cedar Ridge Cemeteries are first priorities for the organization. Right now, the MCPC, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization is in the process of holding fundraisers in an effort to acquire The Historical Linwood Cemetery.
