"Cook County formed from Berrien County in 1918. My Family is from the area and I am also familar with Ladd M./ Laddmoore Lindsey. He is the son of John R. Lindsey and Elizabeth Kinard. His sibilings are Nancy Annie Lee Lindsey, Jim James A. Lindsey, Marietta Etta Lindsey, Anne Sarah F. "Sallie" Lindsey, Eliza J. Lindsey, John Jackson Thomas "Kit" Lindsey, and Martha M. Lindsey. Ladd M. was born Sept. 29, 1882 and died Jan. 29, 1960. He married Mary E. Malloy, the daugther of Ed Malloy. Mary was born on Sept. 8, 1889 and died on Mar. 24, 1935. They are both buried in section B, the oldest part of Brushy Creek Cemetery in Cook County, GA. They had 5 children: John, Laura, Chessie, Glenn, and Rordon/Gordon? Lindsey. John was born in 1907 and the youngest was born in 1918. The cemetery is located about 8 miles northeast of Sparks, Ga. Is there or was there a Mt. Olivet cemetery in or near Atlanta in 1879? The obit info reads, "The remains were interred at Mt. Olivet". I guess that means cemetery & not town. Her parents were living in Lumpkin, Stewart Co., GA where she was born. She was attending the State Normal College in Atlanta, GA when she died. Thank you. Gold
