    3. Sheila, I hope you will reconsider your decision to unsub from the list. The vast majority of list members are nice people and no informed person thinks less of you because you got the virus through no fault of your own. Many, many were affected (and infected 8-( ) and some of the virus programs didn't pick it up when it first started going around. This darn thing has been the Anthrax of the Internet! I would also like to remind everyone that good "Netiquette" requires that you ask a person's permission before you post their email address or information for all to see. Hope I don't sound too "preachy"! Sorry for being off-topic. Hope everyone has a happy and virus-free holiday season. Paige ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dave & Shelia Funderburk" snipped

    3. Dave and Sheila, I think that all listers were blindsided by all this virus storm and were only trying to help by doing what they knew how to do and if they put my name up on the list it was only because that is the only way they knew how to notify me to protect myself and any others that might become infected also. I would not consider it an embarrassment to have anyone contact me over the list. If you enjoy the information being shared on the lists please stay and join in. The more the merrier I always say. 1. Re: [GA-CEM] From List Mom RE: Something that should not have happened on our list.
    2. If all of you "advisers" would read with comprehension, instead of reaction with vengence, you would know that I said nothing about Dave & Shelia sending a virus. Nor did I give their address, since the given address was of the virus creator's making, with the signature "_" as the first character of the "non-address" In fact their name and address is in every header of every message they truly do send to the list(s), hence they and you do what you said I shouldn't do, and I didn't do, as far as the address matter is concerned. What could you mean by not disclosing user's names and addresses!? It happens automatically, and with accuracy. If you can't stop the viruses, don't keep them secret, nor censor those who seek solutions. Knowledge is power, but some seek to make censorship power. 3. Dear Members, I have informed you of the concern we all should have regarding protecting ourselves against BADTRANS worm, computer virus..and have send you sites, links and mailing lists you can join to learn more about it. I would like to ask you now if you have any additional comments regarding the subject, you send them to me personally. [email protected] If each of you send something you have learned about this virus we would almost 400 messages just on the virus alone. I am not belittling the importance of this problem but feel we need to keep the conversation on the list regarding it under control and use this list for what all of our members joined it for...the discussion of Georgia Cemeteries. I thank you for your help with this and appreciate your support. Kathleen Burnett List Mom

    2. Kathleen Burnett
    3. Dear List Members, Just to let you know, if you are getting messages from infected members of this list or any list I take care of I am getting them to. I contact the member, send the instructions on how to remove the virus from their system and unsubscribe them until their system is clean. If you know of a member who has the virus and you think I might have missed it...Let me know so I can take care of it properly. Please DO NOT send a message to the list that so in so has a virus..and PLEASE DO NOT POST THE MEMBERS NAME AND E-MAIL ADDRESS. Know that I am taking care of it. The members who have this virus are most likely very upset and frustrated by the time you send them a message and getting messages from hundreds of members of a list who all got their virus infected message will not help them at all. I have had some of these member almost in total hysterics at the fact they are sending out a virus. Be understanding....it might be one of us next. I appreciate your support and thank each of you for all you do to help make this list successful. Kathleen Burnett List Mom >

    2. We recently visited this cemetery and it is in terrible disarray. Someone has driven trucks thru it, stone are down and broken, weeds are overgrown. I took pictures of the stones and some pictures did not come out. I plan to go back there and fill in the information I'm missing. I also plan to check and see if there is a plot or grave locator for the cemetery. There are many, many unmarked graves. The ground is sunken in all up and down and hill. Some sandstone markers didn't stand the test of time, some stones have been broken in pieces. There are several stone crypts which have no information on them. Before I bother the list with posting the information I have, can anyone tell me if this cemetery has been recorded before. The Pioneer Cemetery.
