This is an "extensive" resource list if you have ancestors in the Richmond County area of North Carolina which would include the towns of Hamlet and Rockingham (where the race track is). Gwen, One of my grandfathers of a few generations back is missing. We do not know where he died nor buried. His name is Daniel Skipper. He came to middle Georgia, married, they had 2 dau. and thats all I have. The grandma later married a J. W.Bailey and they are both buried in this mid-Ga area. Many of the rosters that are online tell where someone that died in line of duty or of sickness while on duty were buried. You would need to know what Regiment etc. they were in or see which regs were "allied" out of that area.
