Looking for Pamela Niblack Lampkin, Husb Benjamin Hart Lampkin, He died 1883 and I have no clue when she died, he is buried in Old Lawrenceville, Gwinnett county? I am hoping she is buried with him, possibly with his parents. Lewis Lampkin and Mary Elizabeth Hart Lampkin.........let me know but I promise not to be disappointed if you don't find anything...........yvette

Can anyone tell me which cemeteries were in use in Atlanta from 1890 to 1910? Am looking for my great grandmother so I can get a death certificate. Already checked Oakland, Crest Lawn and Hillcrest in DEKalb. Also she may be buried in western DEKalb since she lived with her daughter and son-in-law and that's where they lived in 1920. Thanks, Joan Straka
If anyone has cemetery listings for Chatham, would you see if you can find my great-uncle Lemuel? I would like to know his date of birth and in which cemetery he is buried. His wife's name was Viola Durden, and their children were Ira Lee, Mildred, and Ebbie. Thank you. Lowell in Alabama
I want to apologize to the list to have twice (at least) posted misguided directions. I am using a topo map program that shows good area location, but maybe not so good on Highway #s etc. Sorry for any inconvenience. Wesley Gann
Hello, Everyone: I don't get to Wilcox County much, but today I took a drive. Coming from Vienna in Dooly County, on GA Highway 215, just outside of the Pitts city limits, I found a graveyard. It was a good ways off the road in between a couple of farm fields. One side appeared to be cotton, the other might've been soybean. The graves were mostly from the early 1900s, but the most recent one was from 2000. And there seemed to be even more graves that were "unseen." Just a feeling. There was no dominant surname, so I'm thinking it was a community cemetery at one time. Another point is there were very few "fancy" headstones. Most were basic concrete with the least amount of writing possible (i.e., B 1 1 1905, D 10 13 1979). Can anyone tell me anything about this cemetery? Is there a name? Did/Does it serve a particular community/family? Thanks, Stephanie
I've gone to look for myself. If I return before I get back, please ask me to wait. Have a blessed day, Sandra
