His father came directly from Ireland, but Michael was born in Providence, RI and buried in Howell, MI (1961) He & his wife, Ada, only had 1 daughter, Florence (my grandmother) and she only died just a few years ago - she's buried in Flint, MI I found out Furlong is a very common Irish name. I'm plagued with having very common surnames running in my family (Hall, Chase, Furlong, White) kind of makes it tough to search. Talk to you later!
