In 1825 he moved over to Newfoundland, or should I say "he Fled". He was in some kind of disturbance there(not sure what it was), so he left. When he moved to Newfoundland he DROPED the "FUR" part of his name, and became just James LONG. In Newfoundland he married a Maria Honeyburn( in 1826 in Kings Cove) He settled in Open Hall and was very well known in the area . I am not sure when he was born but I am guessing it was around 1790's- 1800. If anyone KNOW ANYTHING about this person I would LOVE to hear from you.
