Well, the last missing link of the Thomas & Alma Furlong clan has arisen! Thomas & Alma had these children: Thomas Jr m Florence Hemmer Charles J m Betty Tylka[?] and then a Helen [?] Joseph m Clare Tinion & lived in Valley Stream Matthew [died @5 years old] John [Jackie died of TB 3 days after his mother died of cancer] Alma [my mother] m John Gebert James [only one still kicking and his health is getting fragile.] I have the Furlongs back to Newfoundland, and Pa Furlong's mother, Agnes Kavanagh Furlong, line is documented back to @1740 in NF. As far as Pa Furlong's sisters, I've recently been contacted by a member of the Elizabeth 'Lil' Rudiger line [Hmm, it's been awhile I'll have to write to her!] who has contacts with the Mary Ellen 'Nell' Feeley line, and I've been in contact with the Margaret Shea line who're still in Boston. As far as the Alma Kelly line, I've got so much stuff I haven't written up yet but we've got them back to the marriage of James H Kelly and Almira Dilks in Brooklyn in 1859. Got lots more to say but don't want to put stuff about the living on the open net.
