This information I haven't found exact yet, but from information I received from a researcher in Newfoundland, Canada, this was information that he had found. Thomas P and Mary Lewis had the following children: Francis P. (my father), John, Donald, Thomas, Jean (died as a child). John F. and Jane O'Keefe had the following children: Thomas P., Agnes, Katherine, Phillip, John, Ellen, Peter. I would like to know if any of your "Furlong" family came to Newfoundland from Ireland in the 1800's. If so, I think that would make some kind of connection. My family all immigration to Newfoundland. None that I know of went to Australia or straight to the US. I hope this helps. Please let me know if any of this information sounds familiar. Thank you for responding!! Maureen Gironda
