    3. >Hi Brenda, I saw this note and, I must say, I think you helped me more than I can help you. I do not know anything about Mary Matilda Clinard, but this is what I do know. Gabriel and Judith Smithson Fuqua had several children, among them Gabriel Jr, Joseph, Samuel and John. Gabriel Jr married Ninivah Saunders and they had a child, John Wesley Fuqua who married Johnetta E Cobb. Both John Wesley and Johnetta Fuqua are buried in St Sharon Cemetery in Robertson Co, TN. Joseph Fuqua married 2nd, Susan Binkley. Samuel Fuqua married Malinda Clinard. They had a daughter, Thursey who married William Clinard. John Fuqua was married four times. He had a son, William L who was born in 1841 or 1842. I show his wife as "unknown". John and "unknown" had a son James who was born about 1863. In my mind, there is no question that "unknown" is your Mary Matilda Clinard. I do not know if I have anything that might help you in some way. If you think it possible, just let me know and I will do what I can. In the meantime, thank you for your help. It does answer a question that I had. Incidentally, this whole group is form your area of TN and many are buried in St Sharon Cemetery.
