Fuqua November 10, 1849, dismissed to Tennessee. I have in my notes the following: >From Southern Religious Telegraph Richmond, Henrico Co, VA, Jan 9, 1830 Marriages At Maysville, Buckingham Co on the 19th ult. by the Rev Jesse S ARMISTEAD, Mr Jos M FUQUA, of Cumberland, to Miss Rebecca, daughter of Hezekiah LIPSCOMBE, Esq;..... Am I understanding that Rebecca LIPSCOMBE entered the church on Aug 22, 1828 and left to go to TN on Nov 10, 1849? Do you suppose that the S.M FUQUA is just a typo? I was confused at first as I thought the Jan 9, 1830 date was a marriage date, but I now think that I was mistaken. Can you verify? Claire Fuqua
