How exciting to see all the different lines - it will be amazing someday to see them intersect. Yes, Pat, I have noticed that my family tree has some crossing branches too. In fact, it is a little scary to see how virtually all my family lines - on both sides! - seem to dump right back into the same little area of Virginia in the early 1700s. Certainly gives one pause for thought, doesn't it? Anyway, as promised, here is my meager little offering: my maternal grandmother was Cola Bey Fuqua, b. 19 Apr 1895 Geneva Co., AL m. 25 Jun 1911 to Morris Lee and d. 1 Aug 1958 in Orlando, FL Her parents were William M. Fuqua (b. 2 Feb. 1860, Barbour Cty., AL m. 27 Jan 1881 to Lydia Margrette Benefield and d. 5 Nov. 1932 in Florala, AL William's parents were Randolph "Randall" Fuqua b. Mar 2, 1814 and d. June 3, 1896. and Mary Hartzogg Fuqua b. June 5, 1831 and d. Oct 27, 1919 Randall, however seems to not have been born TO anyone. He, rather, seems to have sprung up from thin air. Wisps of smoke have been spotted in the Florida and Alabama area, but no solid fires of proof that I am aware of. Would love to be proved wrong on that one. William and Lydia had a houseful of children, including Cola Bey, Allace Luida, Pearlie, Lilie Leolie, Ethel Befay, Lois Nila, Lola Amazone, Willie Mae, and Laudie William. If anyone is descended from this group I do have some pictures of William and Lydia - and of the whole family in front of their house. Also have newspaper clippings, and some assorted sundry things of interest to the immediate line only. Let me know if anyone would like copies. Thanks so much! Cara
