He married Joanna Hathaway who was born 8 Jan 1828 in St Louis, MO and died 19 Aug 1905 in Pomona, CA. Isham and Joanna had children Thomas J, Dora Bell, John M, Mary C, Benjamin F, William, Serena D, Lenna, Susan and James W. Isham was the son of John M and Charlotte (Robinson) Fuqua. John was born 1786 in Charlotte Co, VA, died between 1850 and 1860 in Daviess Co, KY. He married Charlotte Robinson on 29 May 1808 in Shelby Co, KY. Charlotte was born abt 1790 in VA and died after 1850 in Daviess Co, KY. John M and Charlotte had children: William R, Joseph, Emeline, Isham, Eliza, Lucretia, Minerva Jane, John M, Catherine, Thomas Albert and Charlotte Jane.
