    3. Dear George, Thank you for reminding me of the Jane Fulton/Robert Caldwell family in Noble Co OH.. I overlooked the series of creeks that could possible tie Marietta, Washington Co to Caldwell, Noble Co. And the time-frame is definietely the same. Thanks, Roberta *********************************************************************** "Caldwell, George R." <grcaldwell@cambridgeoh.com> wites on 27 Feb 1999: Roberta, To add another twist to this story, lets don't forget Jane Fulton, born in 1769 came from Chester Co., Pa. to Washington Co., Marietta, Ohio, with her husband Robert Caldwell, born 1762, in the year 1795. Robert a Rev Soldier, acquired land from the Marietta Land Office (600 acres) to go north of the settlement of Marietta and protect it from the Indians. In 1803, he came north of Marietta and settled upon the tract of land on the East Fork Of Duck Creek, now known as Caldwell, Noble County, Ohio. I am seventh generation of Robert and Jane. Anyone having a connection to either of them, i would like to contact. Thanks George Robert Caldwell
