Dear Roberta, Thanks for your prompt response. The incorrect address came from Rootsweb, as I just accepted the a\ddress given and added "subscribe". Never mind it worked anyway. I am Trevor Fulton, and have been researching the Fultons off and on for many years. Now retired I have both more time and an internet, and am making more progress. I was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and fit somewhere in the Lisburn family, part of which is described in the book "Fultons of Lisburn" by Theodore Hope, of which I expect you know. We do not appear in it, but my grandfather met Hope and was in no doubt that we were related. Unfortunately I didn't ask him how - and none of the next generation knew the details. I have an extensive database of Fultons in Ireland, and reckon that there were several separate arrivals. I have concentrated on the Lisburn family, and though I now live in the south of England, I am familiar with the geography of the Lisburn area. I have also an extensive tree of another Fulton family from the Carnmoney area, which is only about 12 or 15 miles from Lisburn but on the other side of Belfast. There appear to have been no links between the two families since the mid 18th century or perhaps earlier. I look forward to getting your information as it comes in and to browse in the archive. Once I get the feel for it I will probably switch to the digest. Trevor Fulton
