Just a note that might be of interest to someone. I've been tracing the Wickenberg family and my Johan Alfred (Albert) Wickenberg married a Helma C Olhin. They had a son George E Wickenberg, b. 1892. That year the father ran away. In 1897, Helma filed for divorce saying no-one knew where the father was. She is found on the 1900 Census married to Leander Fulton. I assume he is the Leander Fulton in the Fulton Genealogy book. Though it does not have anything more on Leander's life. 1900, Lead, Lawrence Co. SD Census: Fulton, Leander, b. July 1865 Canada, age 34, in U.S. 18 years, parents born in Canada; Helma C, wife, b. Oct 1866 Sweden, age 33, in U.S. 9 years, parents born in Sweden; Wickenburg, George E, son, b.
