    3. Hello to you all! Well I have finally made it and have gotten on the internet. However, I am a little fimiluar with some of you, since my sister, Roberta, has kept me updated on alot of what goes on with this list. Some of you know me from my traveles with you on the Fulton Family tours. I can't wait to see you all again in Salt Lake @ the LDS , the end of October. I have been doing a new project for the "Fulton" surname , here in New York. I am researching the surname Fulton, in New York. I have files, by county, going up to about 1860. I am more than willing to share any info I have. I would like to request from anyone who is researching the Fulton surname, if they have any info that mentions a Fulton in New York State, to please send it to me. I hope to be able to study the migration pattern of the Fulton surname in early times. Any info would be appreciated! For a little backround of my family, my 4th GrG , James Fulton was born in Dalkeith in 1739, left Edinburgh, Scotland in 1792 and came to New York. He brought his wife, Nancy (Agnes) & 3 of his children, John, Phebe & Andrew, with him. In 1804 he finally settled in Sullivan Co NY.( At that time it was Ulster Co NY) and started the Fulton Settelment. On his grave stone it reads; "An aged man I made my way From Scotland to America, And by a many toilsome day, I purchased ground wherein I lay." Always, Florence
