Margaret Guthrie and emigrated "en famille" in the late spring of 1772 are clearly my ancestors--and those of many others on this listserv. Good work Now, if we can only get Abraham's parents pinned down! Abraham's father was probably named Abram if, following Scottish naming practice, Abraham's paternal grandfather would have been named James, and his maternal grandfather named Robert. henry l. fulton
