I am still trying to trace my husband's g fathers family. ROBERT FULTON as born in Glasgow approximately 1882-4'ish [sorry no exact dates guessing as he had a daughter of about 88 years still living]. At about 18 he walked to Liverpool and joined the Army and was immediately shipped to India. He stayed there until his death, having left the army and become [possibly] security of some sort probably for the army. He married AGNES JAYNE JASPER[GASPER] who was possibly Burmese or Armenian. They had six or possibly seven children. ROBERT was the only boy and the eldest, EILEEN MARGARET[born Jan 1914] and was the eldest daughter and my husbands mother. I know there was a daughter called Katherine [my youngest daughter is Katherine Lucinda Jayne and would also like to know the history] We do not have the names of any of the other girls. I do know that EILEEN managed to keep the family together and returned them all to Scotland on the death [in India] of their father we are not sure about their Mother but think that she also returned at some point. Why is there such reluctance by the family member to admit their 'roots'. We have no prejudice and would really love to meet all our relatives. My husband is dying and would like v much, now his mother is unable to comprehend what is happening to trance all family members and at least establish some sort of connect. Please....... Our love to all of you, however if you do not wish to know us please say why. Any help tracing this family would be appreciated. I have five daughters and a son who would like to know!!!
