    2. I wanted to add my "2 cents" about documentation. When I started genealogical research forty years ago, I didn't document where I obtained my information. How I lived to regret it. Now that I'm compiling my second book, I've had to go back and find the sources. Lost time and effort!!!! Take the time NOW to completely document your sources. Check out Elizabeth Shown Mills's book Evidence, Citation and Analysis for the Family Historian, (Baltimore: Genealogical Publishing Co., 1997 or Richard S. Lackey's Cite Your Sources, (Jackson, Mississippi: University Press of Mississippi, 1980). [I have no monetary interest in either book :-) ] Patt Fulton Austin, TX
