What is the name of the wife of your Abraham Fulton and their children? If he is part of the Abraham Fulton/Margaret Guthrie line, it is possible he could be on another branch because they used the same first names over and over and often each branch had eight or more children. Here are some suggestions: 1) Have you retrieved notes from the archives - search for Guthrie or Guthry or Westmoreland or Craighead ? Of particular interest: a) Subject: Abraham Fulton and Margaret Guthrie, Westmoreland, PA, 1772 Dated: 6 Sept 1997 (a descendancy chart) b) Subject: Combining files for Abraham Fulton/Margaret Guthrie descendants Dated: 10 Dec 1997 (list of researchers studying this family, and more appear on the list who subsequently joined the discussion) c) Subject: Don't Pull That Thread... Dated 25 Nov 1998 (discusses possibility of where James and Robert, sons of Abraham Fulton and Margaret Guthrie, may have stayed when they came to America prior to 1770 "to check things out". d) Subject: Abraham Fulton and Margaret Guthrie, Articlave, Londonderry Co, Ireland 1772 Dated: 06 Sept 1997 (General background information and explains that Higginson Publishers sells Ernest Craighead book on this line) 2) Have you checked out Georgeann Malowney's web page on the Westmoreland Fultons at: http://www.IrishGenealogy.com/fulton.htm Hope this helps.
