    3. I was searching the PA Archives for more information on my Hugh Fulton (1759-1832) and his connection to a John Fulton of Bedford Co. Pa. when I came upon the following, that I thought might be of interest to the Fulton/Criner researchers. PA Archives 3rd Series - Vol 22 Taxables Bedford Co. Pa. 1773 Hempfeld Twp. John Fulton Tax 1.0 the line directly above him was Philip Criner ( I had never heard of a Bedford Co. connection before on these two) The line directly below was Manus Galaher. I found the previous information on this connection interesting with the reference to John having a brother James. It appears that my Hugh Fulton who was first found in Bedford Co. Quemahoning Twp in 1789, then in 1790 he moved to Milford Twp. which later became Somerset Co.had a brother James who was born approx 1774 and removed from the Somerset area in 1815. Also that Hugh sold to James Fulton a horse, wagon, etc. that had belonged to a John Fulton. If any of this clicks with the Fulton/Criner researchers, please let me know. Ann Irwin
