Fulton Bell 1849 Date: Thu, 27 Jan 2000 15:55:37 -0800 (PST) From: "Teresa L Fender" <RAVEN34@prodigy.net> To: <fulton-l@rootsweb.com> Came across your website when I was looking up info on a Bell that belongs to my grandmother. It was cast in 1849 by an A. Fulton in Pennsylvania. It is made of Nickel and Bronze and has an Angel with a harp on it. It was brought to Indiana by a friend of my grandmothers and we have had it for many years. We were told it was made by the same company that casted the Liberty Bell, though I realize that there was more than one. THe first bell cracked and they replaced it. Dont' know if our bell was or was not made by the same person. I too am researching my family geneology and find it fascinating. When I saw your site, just thought I would drop you this line. Didn't know if the bell had anything to do with your family name or not. Thanks and have a great day.
