I, too am a descendant of Arthur Fulton and Naomi Powell Jones through their daughter, Nancy Powell Jones who married Thornton Jefferson Creed in Rhea Co. TN 29 Aug 1822. Their daughter, Sarah Jane Creed and Henry Clay Snyder are my 2-G Grandparents. A small correction Van Buren became Cass County. Harrisonville is the county seat. For those tracing Arthur Fulton or his line in Cass County, please remember it was heavily affected by the Civil War. General Order #11 caused the removal of a large percentage of the population, particularly those originally from the South. Many never returned there.
