Hi Don, Your inquiry caught my eye as I have a Gilbert Fuller born 1814, LeRay, Jefferson Co., NY. He died in 1883 but there is no death record. I have no direct proof, but a preponderance of evidence that his father was Josiah Fuller, who was born around 1785. This Josiah married Mary/Polly Fowler. Josiah died early on--by about 1834 and she married Charles Ensign. For them to be connected, my Gilbert would have to be a brother of your Aaron. I have not had much luck with the siblings of Gilbert. I know of a Nancy and Lucy. This Josiah was a son of Isaac Fuller and Judith Buel. Isaac is not a Mayflower Fuller--goes back to John Fuller of Newton. I have read there is a connection to the Mayflower Fullers (cousin???) but I have not really pursued this. The wife's line--Judith Buel is great--goes back to Gov. Thomas Dudley (great for those into royal lines), his daughter Anne Dudley Bradstreet (America's first poetess) and her husband Gov. Simon Bradstreet. Anyway--don't know if twhat you have connects to what I have, but, just in case, here it is. You have your Aaron born NY-- was it Jefferson Co? Does the death record list the mother's name? Would be Mary/Polly to connect. If it does, I would be thrilled to get a copy of this death record to show Josiah as the father. Do you know if this Josiah was dead by 1840? These are the key elements for a connection. Gail Adams Virginia
