My ancestors came from Kings county, Avonport to be exact. I have hit the well known brick wall seeking additional information on my 2gr grandfather Edward M. Fuller, his wife was Mary ( no maiden name available). He had 2 sons and a daughter all born in Avonport. Amos, b. 1846, Wm. Henry, b. 1840 and Celia Fuller. ca. 1851 I have my line from Wm. Henry Fuller down to present but have no further info on Edward except he was born apprx. 1802..In the 1871 census of Kings he was listed as 66 years old living with his son Amos. This is the first time I have found the Historical Society e-mail address, so this is my first posting to your group. I do have quite a bit of information on my line, but can't seem to find out much on Edward M. Fuller. Any help would be appreciated. I do have a web page at : http://members.tripod.com/~fulroy/index.html Also have the following: Hi. Anyone interested in the FULLER line from Nova Scotia here is what I have. These are related to me and are from the Kings county Nova Scotia census . I would appreciate any additional information. In the list there is a number on the left and I'll use that for identification. In 1871 census 50 Fuller, Edward my gggrandfather. 51 Fuller, Amos, a son. 52 Fuller, Alalia wife of Amos. In a copy of marriage slip I have, Alalia is listed as Laleah. In 1881 census 207 Fuller, W H my ggrandfather William Henry, also referred to as Henry later). 208 Fuller, Matilda (Wm's 2nd wife) 209 Fuller, Robert this child from Wm's m. to 1st wife Jane McAlmon 210 Fuller, Albert also from 1st marriage. In 1891 census I find: 273 Fuller, Henry (this has to be William Henry based on wife's name and on correct ages.)He also went by Henry I believe in his marriage to 3rd wife Grace Monroe. 274 Fuller, Matilda (also #208 in 1881 census) 275 Fuller, Albert (also #210 in 1881 census) 276 Fuller, Harry (my grandfather) 277 Fuller, Robert (listed as family 27 not 25 as the above five are. under J (family status)there is "ng" but the age would be correct for the Robert #209 And lastly some I believe are connected since one of my Dad's sisters has mentioned a Frank Fuller and gave his mothers' name as Lucy I feel there is probably a connection. In 1901 census 344 Fuller, James R, b. 22 Jul 1846 (head of family) 345 Fuller, Lucilla G. b. 6 Mar 1841 (wife) And under children in the same family group I find... 346 Fuller, Frank E. b. 31 July 1871 347 Fuller, Edna J. b. 29 May 1873 348 Fuller, George N. b. 20 Jan 1879 349 Fuller, Lilly M. b. 31 Jul 1880 350 Fuller, Ezilphy b. 19 july 1886. As I mentioned I have no confirmation of the last group, except I do have a photo with some know relatives which includes a Frank Fuller, whose mother is listed as Lucy Andrews, which may have been a maiden name or a re-marriage. The "Lucilla", "Lucy" with a son Frank is I think more than a co-incidence. One of my Dad;s sisters Evelyn (Fuller) Morin, can only remember meeting Frank once when she was young.
