These children are: <<8. Adelaide, b. c. 1842, married James Sosby I hope someone out there may have some additional information on these children of William Fuller. I would like to document all of their descendants. >> Any chance Adelaide's MARRIED name was FULLER? I have a Charles FULLER making his way from Leavenworth KS to Hartford CT. Supposedly married Adelaide in Western NY and had a son (Willy) William. She died (possibly divorced???) and he left son with her family and ended up in Hartford, CT in 1875 married and settled down? Could Sosby be second marriage? If she got her Fuller name from 1st marriage there's a bushel of at least collateral descendents here in CT Paul Bomely Paul, Thank you for responding to my email, unfortunately for me Adelaide's birth name was Fuller. I picked up her name from the 1850 US Census and her age at that time was 8 years old. Her parents were listed in the census as Carleton and Mary Fuller. And in a book written by Jeannette R. Thompson, History of Stratford, (1773 - 1925), the names are Carlton and Mary. Family lore has always said it was Carleton and Octavia (I beleive that she may have gone by her middle name). So, you see my Adelaide is different from your Adelaide. Thanks again for responding to my call for help. Have a great day! Harlan
