Charles, Thank you for your detailed reply re Lionel Edward FULLER, born 1861 Southampton. I think it is possible that the reason the family travelled around so much is because of career moves his father the Rev. Trayton Fuller made. ( Father died 1875 so does not appear in 1881 census). I have built a family tree of Lionel Edward's ancestors and am currently interested in his descendants in the USA. His 2nd great grandfather was Lord Heathfield of Gibraltar, George Augustus ELLIOT. His 2nd great grandmother was Ann Pollexfen DRAKE (related to THE Sir Francis DRAKE). His great gradfather John Trayton FULLER was a first cousin of John "Mad Jack" FULLER squire of Brightling, Sussex 1757-1834 who is my main research interest. His grand uncle General Sir Augustus Elliot FULLER was one of Jack Fuller's primary heirs. (see my website at <http://www://johnmadjackfuller.homestead.com>http://www://johnmadjackfuller.homestead.com ) Lionel Edward FULLER emigrated to the USA in 1884. He was employed in 1900 as a Civil Engineer. He appeared in the 1900 Census in Kanawha County, WV Chas. Dist. (Ed-48) #291-300: Morris St; Charleston, West Virginia. Lionel Edward FULLER married Josephine DEGRUYTER in 1890. I have found no record of children from this marriage Lionel Edward FULLER married Eugenia KRIES ( possibly KRISE). Children of this marriage are: Lionel Edward FULLER Eugene Cecil FULLER John Trayton Elliot FULLER Eleanor Grace FULLER Any further help would be gratefully received. Unfortunately the village of Chalvington, Sussex is misspelled in the LDS Census data as Chalvinton. Regards, Annette Lloyd Thomas Do you Yahoo!?
