Many moons have faded into history since I last posted a query on the line of William Whaley FULLER, a new year has arrived, and maybe, just maybe, someone has joined the list since my previous posting and may recognize this FULLER line. Of my great-grandfather, William Whaley FULLER, I actually have located a fair amount of information. He was born January 14, 1828 in Ontario County, New York; married Jennie Adelia Thompson on February 20, 1856 in Cuyahoga County, Ohio; and died January 21, 1915 in Rolla, Missouri. Along the way, he and Jennie had William Thompson Fuller (1857 - 1918), Franklin Alexander Fuller (1858 - 1927), Sarah Jane Fuller (1860 - 1935), Cora Estelle Fuller (1863 - 1944), Marietta Fuller (1869 - 1944), and Myrtle Jennie Fuller (1875 - 1962). Based on family notes and some Census data, we believe that William Whaley FULLER may have had two brothers, Charles W. Fuller (b. 1834, Ontario County, New York ) and John Spencer FULLER (b. 1840, Ontario County, New York). Their father, Jacob FULLER, may have been born in 1792 in Royalston, Massachusetts, moving to Ontario County, New York, in 1814. There is a good possibility that Jacob's father was also named Jacob FULLER and was a Revolutionary War soldier. However, the trail is very old and weedy, and we are not certain that we are on the right path. If anyone else is following this line, please contact me and let us share our compass readings!
