I would invite my g-g grandfather Aspinwall Fuller who was born in 1851 and lived in New York City. My questions would be "Dear grandfather Aspinwall please tell me about your father William Fuller as we know so little about him. We ask so your future family can find out about him and his immediate family, when and where he was born, what was his profession and when did he pass and how? And grandfather Aspinwall please give us details about you fathers family tree and was he really a descendant of the Mayflower Fullers? Also grandfather please tell me about your brothers William, Howard and James Jones and sisters Susie and Bessie. And perhaps most important to me personally please tell me about your short life. You went from a prison inmate in sing sing to the president of a powerful shipping union only to die at age 38. And grandfather tell me about your two daughters one of whom was my grandmother Susan Black Fuller. After we talk grandfather we will all sit down a! nd have a great dinner and give thanks for sharing our time together" Sincerely Roger your g-g- grandson. This is a great way to get our feelings out and I appreciate our listowner for thinking about this novel idea.
