I would invite William Fuller b. 1744/45 who married in Dec. 1774 Sarah Cass b. 1752 and who had children Jonathan b. 1775, Daniel b. 1777, Abigail b. 1780, William b. 1782, Benjamin Brown b. 1787, Mercy b. 1787 and Patience b. 1787 (?) all of whom lived in Mendon, MA and Providence, RI at various times. I would ask William why it appears he abandoned his family leaving his wife Sarah as head of household in the 1790 census. It appears he later lived in Vermont but not with Sarah.
