Greetings! DNA results came in today for a descendant of Robert Fuller of Rehoboth/Salem. Robert is believed to be a brother of Ensign Thomas Fuller of Dedham, and DNA results confirm that they share a common Fuller ancestor with Edward and Samuel Fuller of the Mayflower. (The two Mayflower participants in the project are paper-trailed descendants.) The haplogroup (ethnicity) has been confirmed to be R1b, the most common European haplogroup. It's known as the "Western Atlantic Modal Haplotype". This branch of Fullers originated in Redenhall, England. Scholarship funds are available for the Y-DNA testing of male surnamed Fullers in England.
