Anaconda, Montana - Laurie Duane Fuller, 47, died unexpectedly Aug. 10, 2006, at UC Davis Hospital in Sacramento, Calif. Duane was born Nov. 6, 1958, to the late Francis "Mick" and Lois "Meme" Fuller. He was raised in Anaconda and graduated from Anaconda High School in 1978. He participated in wrestling, cross-country and track. He was a four-year letterman in cross-country. He was also among the top 25 finishers for the state of Montana his senior year. He attended the College of Great Falls and Montana State University and earned a bachelor of science degree in occupational health and safety engineering from Columbia Southern University. In 1980, he moved to California where he lived the past 26 years. He married Editha Gatdula on June 30, 2001, at the family cabin at Georgetown Lake. They were blessed with one daughter, Norma Loise. Duane is survived by his wife, Editha, and daughter, Norma, at the family home in Sacramento; mother, Lois; brothers and spouses, Michael and Renee Fuller, Kevin and Janet Fuller of Anaconda, Ken and Jackie Fuller of Kalispell and his family in the Philippines. Laurie especially loved his numerous nieces and nephews, Jennifer and Kimberly of Great Falls, Joey and Teah of Anaconda and Colin, Connor and Kennah of Kalispell. He was preceded in death by his father, Mick; and grandparents, John and Mildred Dillon and Lyle and Margaret Fuller. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Holy Family Church, Anaconda. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
