Or am I looking at this too simplistically? >> The problem with this is that there were more than just Samuel & Edward who came to Mass in the 1600's: Robert of Salem & Rehobeth, Thomas of Woburn, Thomas of Dedham, John of Newton, John of Lynn, John of Ipswich, & Robert of Dorchester & Dedham.
