Hi cousin's: My apologies in advance - but I know you are a helping lot! I'm having serious problems with my ISP and need to find another provider. I'm currently with Earthlink/Mindspring and downloaded their NEW desktop info and my system has taken a real tumble: defaults were changed and I've spent over 5-6 hours trying to recover! This does tick me of a bit! My question to the cousins out there: Recommend an e-mail provider that's responsible! Recommend an ISP that is responsible! I don't want those "freebies" that dump a lot of banner ads on your page.... FULLER FAMILIES, IF YOU EMAILED ME, I know longer have your email address. Bill, this is understandable ! However, I don't have the answer, just the same problem ! I'm up tonight after having the system folder of the operating system becoming disabled, the internet preferences, translators changed and other problems after the ISP server has dropped in and out for a few (many ?) days OR whatever else that caused my computer's DATA to act this way! It's taken me most of the day. I have lost bookmarks, all addresses and all saved messages, the inbox, the unsent and all other emails that I was going to answer or work on later.
