What are these Fullers afraid of? I have had trouble researching my Fullers, but have been told that they are Mayflower descendants - I haven't been able to get that far - though I must say that I haven't worked that hard on this line. My ancestor was Hiram Fuller, b. 02/22/1798 in Schenectady, NY and died 10/25/1867 in Chattahoochee, GA, son of Daniel Fuller, b. Jan. 1776 and Abigail Miller - none of this is documented, but info from a book written by a cousin. There were several Daniel Fullers in upstate NY and I haven't sorted out mine - anyone know of this Daniel? Pat
I do think the original email was a little offensive, probably unintentionally, but I think the follow-up remarks should have been sent through email. Now if I'd only heed my own words. BTW, I don't know think the Mayflower Fullers should feel at all uncomfortable about their heritage. Not all of us came from mountain men, descended of Scots. The important thing is we all started out from people who pounded cloth around for a living. <G> Or Irishmen who couldn't spell their names. Now, as all our grannies would have said, HESH! <G> Melody (still looking for those east Texas Fullers)
