I think this is so funny! I was once in a restaurant on Cape Cod, having dinner with an old college friend and her husband, who happens to be a Mayflower descendant. The story in my family has been that we are Mayflower descendants too. I overheard a man at the next table telling someone that he was a Mayflower descendant. Since there are more than 2 million Mayflower descendants in this country, and, obviously they may be heavily concentrated in New England states, I felt that if I took a poll of all the other people in that restaurant, we could have had a Mayflower Reunion!! So what is the big deal here?
