As it has been awhile, thought I would try my Fuller line request again. Thomas Pitcher Fuller; These Fuller's came over on the first Dutch ship that brought settlers to (New) Amsterdam, New York. The Fullers left England with the Puritans and went to Holland, they later moved to America and settled on the Hudson River in New York, where they raised horses. My wife's G-G-G-Grandfather Samuel Thomas Pitcher Fuller fought in the Mexican War (1846 to 1848). On his way back he fell sick(dysentery). A family named Stephenson took him in. They had a widowed daughter, Loretta, G-G-G-Grandfather Samuel Fuller married Loretta Stephenson. He then worked as a Captain on a river boat on the Red River or Lake Bistineau, in La. At the time of his death Samuel was connected to Law Enforcement in Red River Parish Louisiana. He was in pursuit of a wanted man, and drown while crossing a river, his wife saw this happen.
