I've enjoyed the recent banter; I hadn't realized there were so many Fuller researchers until this last week. Maybe one of you can help my with my brick wall: Jacob FULLER was born in 1786 in New York (we're guessing), moved to Ohio with 4 of his sons, followed later by his wife (Lucy EVANS?) (married 1804?). Between her and second wife (Mary ELDREDGE?), he had around 18 children, Abel, Mathew, Calvin,Quartus, Willis, Samuel, 8 unknowns, Cynthia, Maria, Jacob E., and Harry. They eventually settled in the Putnam County area of Ohio. He died in 1872. I have a lot of information on descendents after this generation, but not with a lot of documentation, just what I've gleaned from other researchers. Jacob is a brick wall for us. We don't know yet where in New York he came from, possibly from Lake Champlain/Whitehall, New York. I don't believe he is the same Jacob Winegar FULLER born in Amenia, Dutchess County, New York, the same year. Good luck to you all in your searchings.
