Interesting. I live about 8 miles from the stone marker along the railroad where the General was captured. I have stopped and read it a couple of times. Would you like a photo? Perhaps I will drive by and take a picture some time so you can have the Marker along with the engine. When I was a child the engine was housed at the railroad depot in Chattanooga, TN. But then the rebels claimed it and it was taken to Red Top Mountain State Park in Altoona, GA. I understand it is on display there, but have not gone to see it again. I wonder what line of Fullers they trace back to. My own family was in Delaware county New York, at that point I am up against the wall. I think my GGG Grandfather was born in Westchester County, perhaps North Salem, NY, but I don't know who his parents were and am stuck.
