    1. Re: Name confusion
    2. Hi Forrest, Yes, I think the names are confused. I did not find those 6 names as names of the children of Abial, son of Jeduthan and Sarah Daggett. You can find the Attleboro Vital records online at Familysearch.org -- under IGI for North America. These are the Batch numbers for Attleboro: Births, Christenings: Batch #: C500021 Marriages: Batch #: M500021 >From 1790 census, etc. it looks like this Abial (son of Jeduthan) stayed in Attleboro. Here's what I have (asumming I typed it right...): Abial Fuller (b. 1747) & (w1) Deziah Gore, m. 8 Jun 1771 in Attleboro children: Deziah/Desire b. 1772 Sally b. ~ 1774. Abial Fuller & (w2) Patience Read, m. 16 Apr 1778, (intention: 18 Mar 1778) children: Abial, b. 1778 Zilpha, b. 1780 Zachariah, b. 1782 Thomas, b. 1785 I have that Abial Fuller & Beulah Daggett (m. 23 Sep 1738 in Attleboro) moved to moved to Westchester County, NY about 1757. So their son 10 children, including Jabez Fuller, b. 1741 in Attleboro, went with them. Sorry I don't have more. Linda Burkell

    2. Forrest L Fuller
    3. Dear List-- I have discovered two lists of children with identical names of related families. I have no way of documenting either list. Can anyone out there refute or confirm either list? John Fuller b 1674 had sons Jeduthan 1710 and Abial 1712 in Attleboro, MA. Jeduthan married Sarah Daggett and Abial her sister, Bulah Daggett. Jeduthan and Sarah had a son Abiel whose children are listed as: Josiah, Jesse, Abiel, Levi and Lydia. Among the 6 sons of Abial and Bulah was Jabez 1741 who according to the 1790 census had a household in Fishkill, Dutchess of 3 males >16, 3 males<16, and 2 females. His grandson, James Harland Fuller in 1901 wrote a narrative biography of the family from memory. In it he lists 5 of the 6 children of Jabez as Josiah, Jesse, Abiel, Levi, and Lydia. He could not recall the name of the other male who had moved west from Fishkill. It seems more than coincidental that the names of these lists are identical. Could they have been confused somewhere? Does anyone have information that either confirms or refutes one or the other of these lists? I will appreciate your help. You may reply off the list if you choose. Forrest L. 1. FULLER of NY 1800s
    2. Steve Jones
    3. Hello everyone! I am new to the List. I am trying to help voluntarily another person find his FULLER ancestors. I have an interest in his ROGERS connection. Here are the details that we have gathered on his family:- Sarah Ann ROGERS b 1806 Stonington Connecticut married #1 Furman Black Jr 1821 of Philadelphia PA #2 Sylvanus S. Ward (last residence NY City) about 1853 NY (according to IGI) Children of Sarah Ann and Furman Black born Philadelphia Delia Maria b 1822 Married: Gilbert Rogers Susan Taylor b? Married William FULLER - don't know where on when and need to find the marriage. Am not sure if this is the Susan Taylor Fuller nee Black - wrong birthplace. 1880 US census shows:- Susan Fuller born 1826 NY aged 54yrs, widowed, Keeping House (both parents born NY) Aspinwall Fuller born 1851 NY aged 29yrs single, son, engineer. (both the same source info and page no 349D) A son of Susan Taylor Black and William Fuller was another William Fuller Jr who married Frances Penteson Curtis about 1873/4 IGI shows 2 submissions of births for children of this couple. Aspinwall born 1880 New York, Manhattan (ancestor of the person I am helping) Frances Curtis born 1883 Manhattan New York The 1880 US census - need to prove this is the same family as above:- William Fuller born 1847 NY, 33yrs old Steamboat Clerk (Parents both born NY) Frances Fuller born 1853 NY, 27yrs old (head of household William Fuller) Keeping house, married (both with same source info and page no 595C) Children: Charles Fuller born 1875 NY aged 5yrs (same source info as parents above) William Fuller born 1877 NY aged 3yrs (as above) Robert Fuller born 1879 NY aged 1yr (as above) Presuming born after census:- Aspinwall Fuller born 1880 Susan Black Fuller born 1881 Is anyone related to this family or can help confirm the details. We need to prove that the William Fuller who married Frances Penteson Curtis was the son of Susan Taylor Black and William Fuller. Is there an earlier census someone can check to for William and Susan's family? Also, the 1890 census to show William and Frances' family? I have heard that not much of this census survived. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks very much, Judy Jones. Does anyone have anyone related to these Fullers, or can help me trace my family? Thanks, Karen NZ Hello, What do you know for certain about William? There are several possibilities: - You know whom he married, so it should be possible to get a copy of the marriage certificate. This will show details of his father. - The 1881, 1891 and 1901 censi are available online and/or in other ways to researchers. - There are many sources of published information available now which list members may be able to check or to tell you about. Regards, Charles Fuller.

    1. FULLER's of Kings county
    2. My ancestors came from Kings county, Avonport to be exact. I have hit the well known brick wall seeking additional information on my 2gr grandfather Edward M. Fuller, his wife was Mary ( no maiden name available). He had 2 sons and a daughter all born in Avonport. Amos, b. 1846, Wm. Henry, b. 1840 and Celia Fuller. ca. 1851 I have my line from Wm. Henry Fuller down to present but have no further info on Edward except he was born apprx. 1802..In the 1871 census of Kings he was listed as 66 years old living with his son Amos. This is the first time I have found the Historical Society e-mail address, so this is my first posting to your group. I do have quite a bit of information on my line, but can't seem to find out much on Edward M. Fuller. Any help would be appreciated. I do have a web page at : http://members.tripod.com/~fulroy/index.html Also have the following: Hi. Anyone interested in the FULLER line from Nova Scotia here is what I have. These are related to me and are from the Kings county Nova Scotia census . I would appreciate any additional information. In the list there is a number on the left and I'll use that for identification. In 1871 census 50 Fuller, Edward my gggrandfather. 51 Fuller, Amos, a son. 52 Fuller, Alalia wife of Amos. In a copy of marriage slip I have, Alalia is listed as Laleah. In 1881 census 207 Fuller, W H my ggrandfather William Henry, also referred to as Henry later). 208 Fuller, Matilda (Wm's 2nd wife) 209 Fuller, Robert this child from Wm's m. to 1st wife Jane McAlmon 210 Fuller, Albert also from 1st marriage. In 1891 census I find: 273 Fuller, Henry (this has to be William Henry based on wife's name and on correct ages.)He also went by Henry I believe in his marriage to 3rd wife Grace Monroe. 274 Fuller, Matilda (also #208 in 1881 census) 275 Fuller, Albert (also #210 in 1881 census) 276 Fuller, Harry (my grandfather) 277 Fuller, Robert (listed as family 27 not 25 as the above five are. under J (family status)there is "ng" but the age would be correct for the Robert #209 And lastly some I believe are connected since one of my Dad's sisters has mentioned a Frank Fuller and gave his mothers' name as Lucy I feel there is probably a connection. In 1901 census 344 Fuller, James R, b. 22 Jul 1846 (head of family) 345 Fuller, Lucilla G. b. 6 Mar 1841 (wife) And under children in the same family group I find... 346 Fuller, Frank E. b. 31 July 1871 347 Fuller, Edna J. b. 29 May 1873 348 Fuller, George N. b. 20 Jan 1879 349 Fuller, Lilly M. b. 31 Jul 1880 350 Fuller, Ezilphy b. 19 july 1886. As I mentioned I have no confirmation of the last group, except I do have a photo with some know relatives which includes a Frank Fuller, whose mother is listed as Lucy Andrews, which may have been a maiden name or a re-marriage. The "Lucilla", "Lucy" with a son Frank is I think more than a co-incidence. One of my Dad;s sisters Evelyn (Fuller) Morin, can only remember meeting Frank once when she was young. 3. Hello everyone, My FULLER ancestors came from Sussex, and possibly just over the border in Kent. Here is what I do know, and I would be grateful for any help. Alfred Leonard FULLER b. 05 DEC 1899 Sussex. His parents were William FULLER and Clara COOK. William FULLER was born around 1869. I have been told he was born in Burwash, SSX, but can not find any trace of him there, or anywhere. I do know he died in 1937. I think his parents may have been William and Elizabeth FULLER but have no prove of this. I hope someone can help me here. Thanks, Karen New Zealand

    1. Josiah Fuller in Platte, Charles Mix Co. SD
    2. Denise Darting
    3. Hi everyone, I am still trying to trace my M. Thurston Fuller who was residing in Monona Co. IA from 1890-1939 when he died. I still cant figure out what his first name was. So here is my newest mystery, his son Etsell apprently moved after his fathers death in 1939 to Platte, Charles Mix Co. SD. I finally found him buried there in the Platte City Cem. and he is buried with a Josiah Fuller 1855-1934, Josiahs wife name unknown 1862-1932, Ray 1895 -1933, Riley 1903-1980. According to WPA records there is also a Nellie buried there no dates. Early land records for that area show that a Horace and a Melroy Fuller were in that area too. In the 1969 farmers directory for that area shows Riley Fuller in Platte, Castalia. Hopefully if I can find out the connection to Etsell than I might be able to trace the lineage of his father. Somday I hope to figure out what the M. stands for in M. Thurston Fuller. I have not been able to find any M's or Thurstons or even a Josiah with the right birth years in the 1880 census so if they were brothers it looks like the family may have been missed. Thanks.
