If it IS the same family group, Jonathan must have died sometime after the 1850 census. I've searched a few cemeteries, but I haven't found him.

    1. Genealogy Today: Internet handy genealogy tool
    2. David Sylvester
    3. Genealogy Today: Internet handy genealogy tool Wednesday, January 18, 2006 CONNIE LENZEN for The Columbian The inventory of an ancestor's estate included tongs, bellows and anvils. As part of the probate process, the person responsible for the deceased ancestor's estate was to make "a true and perfect inventory of all and singular the goods chattels and credits of the said deceased (person)." These inventories provide us with a window into our ancestor's life. We can see what they had in their house, their barn, their shops, and their fields. Historians use inventories to reconstruct entire communities. The Plymouth Colony Archive Project, online at http://etext.lib.virginia.edu/users/deetz/Plymouth/probates.html, contains a great number of estate inventories that have been used to reconstruct the daily life of Plymouth Colony. The tongs, bellows, and anvils are tools of the trade for a blacksmith. Every occupation has tools of the trade. A shoemaker would use a pair of pinchers and nippers. A farmer might use a plow and a harrow. Genealogists have tools of the trade. One of the tools of the trade is the Internet. Learning to use the Internet is much like learning to use any other kind of tool. You may read the rest of this article at http://www.columbian.com/lifeHome/lifeHomeNews/01182006news113360.cfm

    1. Summarizing:
    2. Floyd Fuller
    3. C. Fuller age 28 male farmer born Tenn (That would place his birth in 1822 FLF) Rosanna age 23 female born Tenn Temperance E. age 5 male born MS: (The family must have arrived in MS about 1845.FLF) Elijah C. age 3 male born Ms Roxanna age 1 fmale born Ms C. Fuller age 28 male farmer born Tenn: (must have been born in 1822+/- FLF) Rosanna age 23 female born Tenn ( b. 1827+/- FLF) Temperance E. age 5 male born Ms Elijah C. age 3 male born Ms Roxanna age 1 female born Ms (Assuming I'm interpreting the census figures correctly, we have;) Jonathan Fuller - 1830 Census Dickson Co TN 332001 -000001 pg 310: (3 males under 5, 3 males between 5 and 10, 2 males between 10 and 15, one male over 30. FLF) Jonathan Fuller - 1840 Census Benton Co TN 2021001-010001 pg 5.: (2 males under 5, 2 males 10 to 15, 1 male 15 to 20, and one male over 40. One female between 5 and 10. There were at least nine children in the family over the 1830-1840 period. FLF) William A Fuller born Feb 18 1821 born Middle TN, parents born NC - (would have been nine for the 1830 census, and 19 for the 1840 census. He would fit the census ages shown. FLF) Jonathan Fuller household on 1850 MS census: (Born 1792+/- FLF) Jonathan Fuller 58 NC: (must have arrived in MS in 1845-6. FLF) Rosanna Fuller 50 NC: (Born 1800+/- FLF) Virgil L. 10 TN Ferdinand S. 08 TN James T. 07 TN John R. 05 TN Marcela 04 MS (I know there were other children of this family as another son mar. a daughter of John Hollowell and Jane Dodd. Donna Hollowell) (Virgil was born about 1840, when the TN Jonathan already had two sons under 5. He would have been 29, and presumably have left home by 1850. The 1850 census in MS does not reflect any teenage sons, nor teenage daughters. FLF) It seems to me that there is a fair probability that these are two different Jonathan Fullers, much as I would like to believe otherwise. However, it seems to me that three children are missing unless they were staying with relatives during the census period.

    1. Loring Fuller NY/Ohio
    2. My Fuller ancestor is Loring Fuller who lived in Chatham, Medina, Ohio. I am looking for info on Loring's ancestors in New York and Massachusetts. I am looking for Fullers who lived in New York in the 1830s and they would have been born in Massachusetts. Loring was born in 1798 and died in 1863 marrying Deliah 1801-1881. They had 6 children including Mary, George, Henry, Francis, and John. Loring in 1840 was at Sullivan, Lorain, Ohio. Loring was in New York in the 1820s and 1830s before migrating to Ohio. Loring might have had a daughter named Deliah Fuller who married George Melton. They would have married in 1840 in Ohio before moving to Texas. Mary born. 1824 died 1877 married Jonas Conkey 1820-1906 living in Ohio. Their children include George, Elma, Minerva, Orpha, Jonas, Jr., Mary, Parmelia, John, Rose Nettie, William, and Clara Conkey. Many of these children married and lived in Medina County, Ohio. George born 1828 might have married Mary Ann Berkey in 1861 at Medina County and they could have been in Kalamazoo, Michigan in 1880. Henry L. Fuller born 1834 married Elizabeth C. Halliwell 1847-1904 1867 in Medina County. He was in Colorado in the 1880 Census. Their children include Ada, Andrew, and Bertha. Francis Fuller 1838-1864 married Delia Oakley 1843-1862 and they are buried in the Chatham Cemetery. John L. Fuller 1840-1919 married Mary Fuller 1838-1914 married 1861 in Medina County. Their children include Forest Fuller 1867-1961 who married Lena Skinner and they lived in Cleveland; and Glenn Fuller 1881-1937 who married Luella Kaneen who also lived in Cleveland. Allan Campbell

    1. Twelve Google Search Tips for Genealogists
    2. David Sylvester
    3. Twelve Google Search Tips for Genealogists By Kimberly Powell In just three short years, Google has become the search engine of choice for millions of savvy Internet searchers. It is a special favorite among many of the genealogists I know, due to its ability to return relevant search results for genealogy and surname queries. Google is much more than just a tool for finding Web sites, however, and most people surfing for information on their ancestors barely scratch the surface of its full potential. If you know what you are doing, you can use Google to search within Web sites, locate photos of your ancestors, bring back dead sites, and track down missing relatives. Learn how to Google as you've never Googled before: 1) Search With a Focus Google has four important ground rules that you need to know for focused results: Use a plus sign before words which are absolutely critical to your search. Use a minus sign before words that you want to be excluded from the search. This is especially useful when searching for a surname with a common usage such as rice or one which is shared with a famous celebrity such as Harrison Ford (i.e. you would enter your search as ford -harrison to exclude results with the word 'harrison'). 2. Elaine
    3. Mary, I believe I am from the same family only there are some differences in the children, etc. For the children of David and Mary I have Patience, Josiah, Elisha, Jacob and 1 other un named. Also have a marriage date of July 1691 in Rehoboth, Bristol Co, MA. Date of death for David was April 12, 1750 in Coventry, Windham, Conn. Not sure of the death of Mary but I have 1720 Coventry, Windham, Conn. Josiah (born 1728)being the family I am from. Also have two spellings for Mary's last name and they are Ormsbee and Ormsby. Seems we have a lot to talk about. 1. Fullers of Attleboro - family groups
    2. Mary Leek
    3. I photocopied all births, marriages and deaths for Fullers in Attleborough, MA from books in the library (No, I don't have the source) and then extracted all children of the same parents and put them together in "family groups." Remember, these are just form Attleborough - if there are gaps, it's possible they moved away, had more kids, and then returned later. Also if maiden name is Fuller, it's possible that she was previously wed to a Fuller ... 1. Re: Fullers of Attleboro and Rehoboth MA maybe
    2. Does anyone have a "stray" Fuller from MA? A sibling perhaps who disappeared out west? Could be my guy.... My ggg grandmother, Lydia Ann FULLER was born in most likely PA - most of my sources say this - but could also be KY or OH. Her date of birth is October 13, 1812. She married Joseph L. PENDLETON first, was widowed and married my ggg grandfather John HUTCHINSON, who was a doctor. He was born in Pomfret VT in 1795. The only information I have on Lydia's parentage is that her father was born in MA and her mother in VT. This is from the Hardin County IL 1860 census. I have no knowledge of siblings. Any suggestions? The only plan of action I can come up with is to try and follow every FULLER line in PA with females of the right age in 1810 ,1820 and 1830 and just eliminate them. I started this daunting task a few years ago, but got bogged down... I don't know when they left MA or VT or when they got to PA, if they lived there or when they got to KY. I believe they were living in or around Cincinnati OH after Lydia was widowed, but I have no proof, just a hunch because John got his divorce there. Of course, Grant County KY where they were married and Gallatin County KY where they had at least two of their sons are just over the Ohio river from Cincinnati. Any ideas for me? I have been to her grave in the middle of the woods in Hardin County IL and heard many stories about her, but have no idea of her ancestry. Thanks for reading this, Kathryne
