    1. Lydia Fuller abt 1751 Bolton CT
    2. Looking to confirm information on Lydia Fuller born about 1751 Bolton CT married John Hill, he born about 1734/40 probably NH, This family moved around a lot, lived in Surry and Alstead NH and Deerfield and Montague MA. A daughter, Sally, born about 1781, married in Montague MA in 1801 to Rodolphus Reed - they later went to Westfield VT. Other possible children, Anna (married a Shepherd?); Betsey, and Samuel born 13 Jan 1773 Alstead, Cheshire Co., NH. Seems that John Hill may have died in Surry NH between 1800 and 1810, perhaps Lydia did also? Hoping to hear from anyone who has information on this family. Thanks Janice

    3. Collaboration Advances Internet-Based Open Source Family History Resource SALT LAKE CITY, April 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Neumont University today announced the development of PhpGedView (PGV), an Internet-based genealogy program through the collaboration of students and instructor, John Finlay. Anyone can use the technology for free to setup a genealogy website, edit data online and collaborate with relatives working on the same family research. Integrated into school curriculum, the PGV development is illustrative of the ongoing integration of Neumont's project-based learning in its accelerated Bachelors degree program. "Neumont students are immersed in real-world projects that stretch their computer development and teamwork skills," said Neumont Senior Vice President of Academics, Eve Andersson. "Many of our corporate collaborative projects are confidential, but the PhpGedView project demonstrates the kind of experience our students gain in the growing open source web development.... http://www.prnewswire.com/cgi-bin/stories.pl?ACCT=104&STORY=/www/story/04-17-2006/0004340806&EDATE=

    1. Internet Genealogy Magazine
    2. David Sylvester
    3. An interesting newcomer to genealogy magazines is Internet Genealogy published by Moorshead Magazines. I have to admit that I was skeptical when I heard of the plans to publish an entire magazine devoted to Internet genealogy. It's a topic that is already well-represented in other mainstream genealogy magazines, including another magazine from the same publisher, Family Chronicle. I was also afraid it might be a bit too basic, or consist of too many links and not enough content, to be worth yet another subscription (I subscribe to pretty much every genealogy magazine too). The first issue, available on newstands now, proved me wrong, however. http://genealogy.about.com/b/a/255796.htm

    1. Charles and George FULLER
    2. Hi good afternoon It seems I have been "barking" up the wrong tree for my Fuller relations. Instead of Geroge Fuller born 1819 in Fletching Sussex I should have been looking at George born Longslack Hampshire in 1826 of course they both had wives named Eliza but the son Charles who married by Flora is now shown as born in Dublin in 1859. On the marriage cert 1882 George is shown as a clerk. On the 1861 census Eliza is living with the two boys and says wife of Chas (which I think should be George)!, then in 1871 census George is with family and it says Sargt Instr to Volunteers or that is what I can read it as??? in 1881 still with the wife and two boys says Commercial Clerk, and 1891 says Army pensioner and living with sone Charles and wife Flora. Now to my questions - if he was an Army pensioner doesn't that mean he would have had to be a regular soldier? Would soldiers have taken their wives with them and perhaps he went to Ireland and that is why George was born in Ireland. I do not know Eliza's nee name but she is down as born in 1827 in Maidstone so it doesn't look as if she went to Ireland to have the baby with her family because then Alfred was born in 1861 in Kensington which seems to have been the area they carried on living in. How long would it have taken him to become a Sargt. Inst to volunteers (always supposing I have read that bit right!)? any help on these questions from the most helpful people on this list would be much apprecaited. regards Hazel Rees
