    1. Lydia Ann FULLER
    2. Oh happy day, I now have confirmed from my gg-grandfather's death certificate that my ggg- grandmother's name is Lydia Ann FULLER. I know that she was born October 13, 1812 in either Kentucky or Pennsylvania and died January 06, 1884 in Hardin County, Illinois. From census records I have that her father was born in Vermont and that her mother was born in Massachusetts. I don't have their names. She married John HUTCHINSON. Their son Elisha was born in Kentucky about 1839. I am trying to find (well anything..) some reference to a marriage record for John and Lydia, but I have no idea where in Kentucky. Any suggestions? Thank you all. Kathryne

    1. SILAS FULLER(1790-1846)
    2. Ray & Cynthia
    3. Hi, I am new to this list, but have been studying family histories & genealogies for over 30 years. For all my years of searching, several ancestors continue to elude me, SILAS FULLER is the prime example! My elusive great-great grandfather, Silas Fuller, was born, according to an old family Bible, in Needham, Mass. on 3 Aug 1790, (right in the middle of the period when no ministers were attached to Needham) and died 5 Oct 1846 in Philadelphia, Pa. where he had taken his family to ply his trade as a shoemaker with a friend, NESTOR FRYE, also of Lynn. Silas is buried in Lynn, Mass at the Old or Western Cemetery. Silas married 4 Dec 1815, MARY (POLLY) SWEETSER, (19 Jan 1792, Lynn, Mass.- 16 Dec 1842, Lynn, Mass.) Mary was the daughter of JOSEPH SWEETSER (30 Sep 1766, Saugus, Mass. - 28 Jun 1848, Danville, Caledonia Co., Vt.)(his line in the book: Seth Sweetser and his Descendants, by P.S.Sweetser 1938 is (SAMUEL, MICHAEL, SAMUEL, BENJAMIN, SETH). Joseph Sweetser married 3 Apr 1787, SARAH CHEEVER (28 Feb 1762, Lynn, Mass. - 15 Aug 1849, Lynn, Mass.), the daughter of EZEKIEL CHEEVER and MARY GILES. Mary Sweetser, Silas' wife, apparantly was a twin as CLARISSE SWEETSER is listed as Joseph & Sarah Sweetser's daughter and as being born on 9 Jan 1792(should be 19 Jan 1792, I guess). Clarisse married 6 Nov 1816, JACOB SKINNER. Silas & Mary Fuller had nine Children: 1. SILAS FULLER, JR., (30 Dec 1816, Newark, Vt. or Lynn, Mass.) married 27 Nov 1837, Lynn, Mass. MARY BREED. (listed in the Phila., Pa directory until 1872:"Silas Fuller, lamps, 924 Spring Garden, house 1005 Race Street") 2. ROBERT ROBINSON FULLER, (13 Dec 1818, Cambridge, Mass) married 30 Mar 1845, Lynn, Mass. SARAH ANN PIERCE. 3. DAVID PIKE FULLER, (30 Mar 1821, Newark, Caledonia Co., Vt. - ) 4. JOHN PIKE FULLER, (29 Apr 1823, Newark, Caledonia Co., Vt. - ) 5. MARVIN GROW FULLER, (1 Mar 1826, Newark, Caledonia Co., Vt. - ) married @1850, ELIZABETH J. of Maryland. 6. ANDREW FULLER, (22 Feb 1828, Newark, Caledonia Co., - 19 Jul 1834) 7. CYNTHIA PIKE FULLER, (26 Feb 1831, Newark, Caledonia Co., Vt. - ) married DANIEL HAND.(probably of Cape May Co., NJ) 8. HENRY FRANCIS FULLER, (30 Dec 1833, Lynn, Mass.) married MARTHA NICKELSON, (14, Feb 1827 West Creek, Cape May Co., NJ- ) 9. MARY JANE FULLER, (6 Dec 1836 [or 7 Dec 1835], Lynn, Mass.-11 Dec 1884, Philadelphia, Pa.) married THOMAS FOWLER NICKELSON, (4 Nov 1835, West Creek, Cape May Co., NJ - Sep 1895, Richmond, Va.) Thomas Fowler Nickelson was Martha Nickelson's brother, another sister, NAOMI M. NICKELSON, (4 Jun 1832, West Creek, Cape May Co., NJ - ) married Silas Fuller's friend from Lynn, Mass., Nestor Fry(e) Why the Fullers moved to Newark, Caledonia Co., Vt, 22 miles from the Canadian border & @ 20 miles from Danville, Caledonia Co., Vt., where Mary's father Joseph Sweetser would die in 1848 is not known. They must have known Newark residents: DAVID PIKE & his daughter, CYNTHIA PIKE, (21 Oct 1800, Newark Twp.,Caledonia Co., Vt - ) as they named children after them, but the relationship, if any, is not known. Thanks for your time, attention, & interest. Perhaps you have run across my SILAS FULLER, SR. & know who is parents were, if so please get back with me. Dr Ray Giron

    2. Jimmy&Jennifer Fuller
    3. Nan I hope you and your families have a nice Thanksgiving. I heard from John Fuller last night he did have some new material for me. There was still no luck on finding John Fuller's Father. But he did find some more grandchildren of John. Maybe this will help someone make a connection. John found the 1880 census at Habersham Ga.with Livonia R. Fuller age 69 (she was 39 in the 1850 census) with her son William R. Fuller his age also corresponds to 1850 census. He has a wife this is designated as dl for daughter in law. I will give you the layout below. Luvonia R. Fuller Head of household 69 years old B SC. (this is Livonia R. Jeffers Fuller wife of John Fuller) William R. son 41 years old Born in Ga. This is in Clarksville Mary J. DL 35 years old Born in SC. William R. JR.Gson 13 years old Born NC. Charles B. Gson 11 years old born NC. Tallulah Y. Gdaughter 9 years old Born NC Must be something about those South Carolina girls. It is interesting there must be some connection with Laurens county South Carolina. Perhaps Johns father moved there and John went on to Clarksville. William went to North Carolina and had three children. Then came back to live with his mother. Littletons brother Joanathan had a son named John Fuller born 1795 born in N.C. with a wife Rebecca Mann could this be my Habersham John age 54 in the 1850 census born in NC. He married Livoinia R. Jeffers in 1833 in Clarksville Ga.he must have been age 38. Could his first wife Rebecca have died and he moved to Habersham to marry Livonia Jeffers? Does anyone know of any children that he had with Rebecca? Does he disappear? Or does he have a history and I can eliminate Joanathan son John Fuller as a possible for my line? John Fuller was born 1795 or 6 in NC. married Livonia R. Jeffers in Clarksville 1833 Livonia was born in Laurens Co. SC. 1811 Children all born in Clarksville Ga. 1. Henry Alexander B. 8-22-1835 2. John W. B. 1837 3. W. R. B. 1838 4. Mary Jane B.1840 5. Peyton W. B. 1843 6. Alfred G. B. 1845 7. Geroge W.M. B. 1848 8. J.J.M B. 1849 9. Thomas R. B. 1853 10. Langston L. I don't have anything earlier on Samuel and Sarah. It is interesting to note though, that the surnames Mickel, Utter and Allen are all common names in this area of Schoharie County also. There were other children besides Leroy. Samuel Jr., perhaps Robert, perhaps Susan, perhaps Polly Mary, perhaps Ezra. FULLER CEMETERY On the property of Mr. & Mrs. Joseph Sacente. On the north side of the road behind the house. This farm was the Fuller farm. The cemetery was emptied and re-internment was made at Worcester Cemetery. This information per Katherine Borst, a Fuller descendant. The original stones were placed in the barn foundation when it was re-laid in the 1920's. The barn was a victim to arson in November of 1997. A year later the remains were bulldozered and buried including the stones of the foundation. 1. 1. Fuller-Allen marriages
    2. Hi. I've just received a copy of a family letter written in 1969, which I need to share with all of you, in hopes to make a connection. It has always been said my husband's line includes direct descendancy from either Edward or Samuel Fuller of the Mayflower, which I've shared with the group before. This Fuller line, whichever brother it is from, supposedly includes a marriage between a Fuller and a female with maiden name of Allen. This female Allen was supposedly a neice of Green Mountain Boy Ethan Allen. As near I can figure, it should be as follows: Myrtle Woodworth-Bennett was born to George Woodworth and Amanda Mickel. Amanda Mickel-Woodworth was born to William Mickel and Maria Fuller-Mickel. Maria Fuller-Mickel was born to either Daniel or Samuel (Daniel I believe) Fuller and Sarah Utter-Fuller. I do not know the parents of Daniel or Samuel Fuller, or his wife Sarah Utter-Fuller. But, according to the letter, the Fuller and Allen connection would have been through this Samuel or Daniel Fuller's mother. Anyone on this list know of any Fuller-Allen marriages, in the timeframe of possibly late 1790's and early 1800's, possibly Massachusetts, Vermont, or New York. Thanks in advance, Lady Mary

    3. I am also a descendant of Henry and Catherine (Salling) Fuller, through their son, George. I disagree with the info post by A.R. James, regarding George. The George he has, is too young to be Henry and Catherine's George. George was born 1757-58. He married Nancy (Unknown). He came to Russell Co VA in 1795. He died in Roane County TN on March 16, 1848, at the age of 91. I have more info on my line on my site, along with a picture of George's Rev War Gravemarker, which will be set at the gravesite on November 27. I, too, and interested in the Maryland Fullers. I have very little info on them. God Bless!!! Peggy C. 2. I am researching Fullers from Maryland and North Carolina, who later moved North into Va and KY. I believe that the original 2 brothers from Maryland have ties to the Fullers in Massachusetts. Here is what I know about these brothers. Henry Fuller born 1717 maybe in Baltimore, MD, died 1790 NC, married Catherine Anna Salling. He had a brother named Nehemiah Fuller born 1719 and was married to Mary. I found the following IGI Records for Nehemiah. I also found in the WFT a Sarah Heath born 3-25-1669 or 4-22-1688 in Haverhill, MA the daughter of John Heath born 8-14- 1643 Newbury, MA and Sarah Partridge born 8-24-1643 Salisbury, MA and both died in Hampton, NH. Several other researchers seem to think that Sarah the mother of Nehamiah and Henry was a Heath. 3. Dear Diane, Gayton Wilbur Fuller was born October 28, 1842 in Malden (Middlesex) MA and enlisted in the New Hampshire Volunteers on August 14, 1862. So far that's all I've found except for the names of his parents as Ephriam and Abigail. Unfortunately, the only Ephriam/Abigail couple I have in my database were born in 1762/1765 and would be too old to be Gayton's parents. I'll keep looking, though. I love the challenge! Thomas Fuller Syracuse, NY P.S. Please let me know how your search turns out. ---------- > From: [email protected] > To: [email protected] > Subject: (no subject) > Date: Friday, November 12, 1999 9:54 AM > > I'm new to the FULLER subscription list and just getting started on my > genealogy. 2. I'm new to the FULLER subscription list and just getting started on my genealogy. I am stumped and bewildered by the sheer numbers of FULLERs! My problem: I'm looking for my great, great grandfather FULLER. I know he had at least one son, my great grandfather, named Gayton Wilbur Fuller. I know he was married to Abigail G. ___. I believe they lived in Massachusetts. I have information on her death and that information tells me that she was born in Stoneham and died in Melrose. Unfortunately, her parents' names were missing and I have no idea what her maiden name was. She was a widow at the time of death. I also know her funeral arrangements were made by a George E. Fuller who was a cousin of my Gayton Wilbur. One other lead I have, says Gayton Wilbur was in Company B of the New Hampshire Volunteers. Does any of this sound familiar to anyone? Any help will be appreciated! Diane
