    3. >From the rootsweb.com mailing MANY "MAYFLOWER" LINES UNCOVERED IN WORLDCONNECT by Myra Vanderpool Gormley, CG Last week RootsWeb Review readers were requested to send the name(s) of their "Mayflower" ancestor(s) along with their WorldConnect file name. You responded. Your editors are still buried under the flurry of responses. Some of you sent your firstborn, and/or hogs, butter, milk and eggs (living persons and nonedible items will be returned collect). Others thought they would slip in a bogus "Mayflower" progenitor (did you really think we'd fall for Peter Rabbit?), while a few, eager to share their dazzling pilgrim pedigrees, sent GEDCOMs, colored charts, photographs, and assorted files -- with unknown extensions that we have not been able to pry open. A few figured out their WorldConnect file name (it is what appears just after the equals sign once you have successfully uploaded your GEDCOM to WorldConnect). Example: (worldconnect.genealogy.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?db=sonavan) However, some were so confused about "file name" that they sent us the secret name of their GEDCOMs residing on their PCs and Macs in the hinterlands. (Your GEDCOM file names are safe with us). We appreciate your eagerness to provide information. However, we decided not to include the file names in our report this week since we are unable to verify many of them. Let us tell you a secret for finding "Mayflower" lines in WorldConnect. Type in the given and surname of a particular individual at: <http://worldconnect.genealogy.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi> and include the birth place of England; then do a search. "Mayflower" ancestors (with the number of readers who indicated to us that such a progenitor was in their uploaded GEDCOM at WorldConnect) are: Alden, John 5; Allerton, Isaac 2; Billington, John 1; Bradford, William 4; Brewster, William 4; Browne/Brown, Peter 1; Chilton, James 4; Cooke, Francis 4; Doty, Edward 0; Eaton, Francis 1; Fletcher, Moses 0; Fuller, Edward 1; Fuller, Samuel 1?; Hopkins, Stephen 6; Howland, John 5; More, Richard 0; Mullins, William 4; Priest, Degory 1; Rogers, Thomas 1; Samson, Henry 0; Soule, George 4; Standish, Myles 2; Tilley, John 5; Warren, Richard 3; White, William 1; Winslow, Edward 2. No one reported being descended from: Edward Doty, Moses Fletcher, Richard More, or Henry Samson. However, there is at least one file in WorldConnect for each "Mayflower" progenitor -- except Moses Fletcher. Fletcher died early in 1620/21 in what is now Plymouth, Massachusetts. He is the only "Mayflower" passenger (known to date) whose family and descendants (he had 10 children by his first wife, Mary Evans) remained in Holland and did not immigrate to New England. -- Scottie Mother of Wade Researching surnames Wade, Scott, Mabry,Cossitt, Father(r)ee, Carroll, Wise, Lacy, Boggan, Harden/in, Thornton,Fuller, Howles, Miles, Sapp, Westerfield,Whittinghill, Dewees(e), Langley, Early,Bozarth, DuPuy, Rose, and others

    1. Phillip Fuller & Natalie Dousett
    2. Gary and Debbie Nation
    3. My ggrandfather was Phillip Fuller, b in England, probably between 1850 & 1860. He married Natalie M Dousett. She was born in Nova Scotia, probably during the same time frame. They had 3 children that I know of. Julia (Fuller) Calder b 1880, Edward Phillip Fuller b. 1881 (my grandfather), & George Fuller. There might possibly have been another daughter named Clara. All the children were born in Rockport , Ma. Phillip worked for one of the cemeteries in Rockport, Probably Beech Grove, for many years as a caretaker. Does anyone know anything about this family? 2. Ronald J. Lance
    3. Hi, this is my initial post to the FULLER mailing list. My connection to the Fuller name is through Wallace W. Fuller who is my great great grandfather. The information I have so far on Wallace is as follows: Wallace W. FULLER, b.1843, NY, d.28 May 1878, Jackson, MI, buried in Albion, MI m.Effie Groff, 18 Jun 1867 We have received information that Wallace's parents may be Alonzo FULLER and Mary Ann BUNKER. We also have reason to believe that Mary Ann may have been his second wife. His first wife may have been Rena. As you can see this part is rather iffy. Wallace and Effie had the following children: Florence Penninah FULLER, b.1 Jul 1868, Albion, MI, d.22 Nov 1933, Sheridan Twp, Calhoun Co., MI (m.Nelson FINLEY) L. D. FULLER, b.23 Aug 1872, Albion, MI, d.2 Jan 1898, Albion, MI Minnie A. FULLER, b.19 May 1875, Rives Junction, MI, d.4 Nov 1936, Albion, MI (m.Merrill J. ZIMMERMAN) Rena B. FULLER, b.Nov 1877, d.May 1947, (m.Ralph GILLETTE) Any further information on Wallace and his parents would be appreciated. We have information on descendents we're more than willing to share. Thanks, Linda Lance <[email protected]>

    1. Enoch Fuller & family
    2. It's a new year, so here is what I know about my Fullers: Enoch Fuller, b. about 1781 (age 69 in 1850 census) settled as a young man in Ashtabula County, Ohio, probably as early as 1806. He came "from New York" presumably meaning western New York State. He married Karenhappuch Palmer "of Richfield" 12 JAN 1809 in Geauga County. Richfield is now in Summit County. Enoch and Karenhappuch had a son Josiah, b. 1810 and a large family of daughters, of who I only know Julina, my gg grandmother, b. 1822, for sure. Probably another was named Ruth. Family tradition is that they had some 17 children, 14 of them daughters. Another son was probably Horatio P. Fuller, b. abt. 1831. The family stayed in Ashtabula and most of the children settled in the Western Reserve, according to the "History of the Western Reserve" by Harriet Taylor Upton, 1910. I would be very interested to contact other descendants of this family. Julina told her 10 children she was a Mayflower pilgrim descendant, which is an ongoing research project. 1. Fuller, John, North Carolina 1795-1796
    2. Jimmy&Jennifer Fuller
    3. I though I might try to post this again with a little bit of new information. John Fuller married Livana (Livonia) R. Jeffers 10-24-1833 in Clarksville, Georgia Habersham Co John Fuller was born 1795 or 6 in NC. Livana R. Jeffers was born in Laurens Co. SC. 1811 Children all born in Clarksville Ga. He must have died between 1853 and 1860 because he does not show up in the 1860 census. A couple of interesting notes: His first son Henry Alexander Fuller on some Civil War documentation list his name with a Jr. at the end. Henry named his first son Oliver Clyde Fuller the second, I noticed there was one by that name from Virginia but have not followed up on it yet. In the 1880 census one of John Fuller's sons says his father is from South Carolina and another son says he was from Scotland. I have a lot more on the linage of the following Fullers, I follow the Henry Alexander line. One particular clue that I would like information on is John b. 1796 NC. had a son named William R. Fuller born 1838 Georgia. He married a Mary J. and they had three children that I know of. They were all born in NC. My information comes from the 1880 Habersham census ( William R had moved back in with his mother.) William R. Fuller's children's names were William R. born 1867 N.C. Charles B. 1869 N.C.and Talullah b. 1871 all in North Carolina. They should show up in the 1870 NC census which I do not have access to. I would like to know what county they were born in. If anyone has come across them please let me know. I feel it is likely they were living in the same county their father was born in and I can focus my search there for John Fullers father. Maybe find an Ezekiel b. 1888 and or a Henry Alexander Fuller Children of John and Livonia Fuller 1. Henry Alexander Jr. B. 8-22-1835 2. John Wesley B. 1837 3. William R. B. 1838 4.
