    1. Re: Samuel Fuller descendant locations
    2. In a message dated 1/26/00 6:02:15 PM Eastern Standard Time, [email protected] writes: << t seems in those 5 generations, Edward's line went MA --> CT and Samuels MA --> MA, NH, and Maine. Since my Fullers were in Litchfield CT in late 1700s, does that rule out Samuel's lines? Or am I looking at this too simplistically? >> The problem with this is that there were more than just Samuel & Edward who came to Mass in the 1600's: Robert of Salem & Rehobeth, Thomas of Woburn, Thomas of Dedham, John of Newton, John of Lynn, John of Ipswich, & Robert of Dorchester & Dedham. When their descendants started heading west, Fullers from different lines ended up in the same towns, esp. in CT. Susan Valis Fuller listowner

    1. Massachusettes Fullers
    2. Hello out there in Fuller List land! Does anyone have any information from the sixth or seventh generation of Mayflower Fullers - in particular, an Oliver Fuller (born in 1778/9 in Mass) who married one Sally Healy (born 1788 in Rhode Island). If you have any information on these folks, please let me know. I would surely like to know who is Oliver's father. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks, Mike Fuller

    3. Thank you. What do you know of FULLERs, other than that Agnes in the Sherman line? My earliest Illinois ancestor was Thomas FULLER born in "Virginia" 30 October 1774m married to Susannah TORRENCE. His father is believed to have been William FULLER, also born in "Virginia". Thomas came to Illinois from the vicinity of Cincinnati. 3. I, too, am interested in this Fuller family. I have Agnes FULLER as having married John SHERMAN in about 1489. I have no documentation, and no other details. I wold like all that is available, or pointers as to where to look, since I think they may be my 14th Great Grandparents on my mother's side. 1. Re: Onondaga Co. NY Fuller?
    2. I'm not 100% sure she's Lucy Fuller. I thought she was but ran into a census record that seemed to call her Rachel. Or maybe it was the other way around. The only source I had for the name Lucy was an IGI entry from LDS records, which isn't exactly original source. The most likely Lucy Fuller I found was Lucy Maria Fuller b 1824 of Floyd, Oneida, NY. Father Orrin Fuller, mother Lucy Otis. Less likely is Lucy Fidelia Fuller, dau of Louisa Fuller, christened 8/12/1827 at First United Presby congregation in Washington, NY. Also unlikely because of age is Lucy Keziah Fuller b 2/20/1834 of New Hartford, Oneida NY, parents Martin & Sally Lockwood Fuller. Unfortunately, I don't have a real birthdate for Jesse Slawson's wife, and am only sure that she is a Fuller. Their children (so far as I've found) are Seth Holcomb Slawson (my gg grandfather) and Andrew Edmund Hall Slawson. History of Whiteside County IL says, "Jesse Slawson was born in Oneida County NY in 1809 and came to Portland in 1836. He was a carpenter by trade and also followed farming near Spring Hill while he was a resident of Portland. He now lvies in Nebraska. Mr. Slawson married Miss Rachel M. Fuller in 1833." Which would seem to say I'm looking for Rachel and not Lucy. Only IGI said Lucy. On the other hand, the Slawson record seems complicated by the fact that our Jesse Slawson had an uncle named Jesse Slawson.... One census record in IL showed a wife named Rachel (could have been the uncle, of course) and a servant named Lucy... Nothing like knowing who you're looking for.... I guess this is what makes genealogy fun. Jan T (Confused)

Fuller's parents and where he died in Texas. William was with his family in the 1840 census of Bedford CO. TN. He was in the 1850 census of Hot Springs Co. AR. and the 1860 census of Hempstead CO.AR. His first wife was Martha Hastings,b. c1811, TN. An Elizabeth Fuller, age 83,b.NC. was in the his household in the 1850 c. I am assuming this was his mother. She was not living with him in the 1860c. These children were in the 1850c. Elizabeth J.(16)b.TN.,William S.(14)b.TN., Josiah(13)b.TN., Mary A.(11)b.TN., Martha A.(7)b.TN., Lurky Frances(9)b,TN., Robert Henry(5)b.TN.(my Ggrandfather), James A.(4/12mo.)b.TN., In the 1860c. Hemstead Co. AR. Wm.S.,Josiah,Frances,Robert H., and Martha were still in the household and another daughter Nancy L(6)b.TN. This probably should have be AR. for her. His wife Martha died after the 1860 census. Probably in Hemstead CO.AR. because he married again, a Louisa Jane Posey on 22 April 1861 in Hemstead CO. They moved to Texas sometime after that and he was supposed to have had 4 more children with her. Thomas Melton or Milton Fuller,b.1867,TX., John,b.abt.1865,TX., Lou,b.abt1863,TX., and Joe William,b.abt.1868 or 1869,TX. Haven't been able to find him in Texas Census. He was supposed to have died before the last child was born and his wife Louisa Jane was supposed to have died after the last child was born. The younger children were supposed to have been raised by older half brothers and sisters, except the youngest son Joe William was given to neighbors to raise. Does anyone out there have any of these people in their family trees. I have been looking for William N.'s father for 25 years, no luck yet. Would like to find out where the rest of his family lived and died. Thanks for any guidance. Mary --part2_7a.1271beb.25b3e3b9_boundary-- --part1_7a.1271beb.25ccf449_boundary--

    3. I have a Fuller family from New York that I know very little about. William A. Fuller married Ida Bell Fisk in Kent County, Michigan on May 7, 1890. His marriage records say he was born in Oswego Co., New York March, 1855. His parents are listed as Charles L. Fuller and Marcia Arnold both of New York. Does anyone have any further information on these New York Fullers?? Possibly Volney Twp., Oswego Co., New York. Denise Holland [email protected]

    1. Onondaga Co. NY Fuller?
    2. I'm interested in these NY Fullers. My Rachel/Lucy Fuller who married Jesse Slawson came from Oneida, NY, Rome Twp. Supposedly the family moved into western NY to work on a canal (the Erie Canal?) . Anybody else following Fullers from that part of the country? Jan T
